Art Icon 2023: Whitechapel Gallery Youth Programme Creative Careers Workshops
Our Creative Careers Programme works with young people from diverse backgrounds aged 15 to 24. Through workshops, talks and social events, the programme enables participants to broaden their understanding of the range of careers available in the creative industries, the skills and experience needed to pursue them, and the routes into working in the arts. Our programme focuses on young people from backgrounds currently underrepresented in the arts, thereby diversifying the pipeline of talent for these industries. In response to the economic impact of the pandemic, we have also broadened our offer to support regular career workshops and networking events for emerging creative professionals aged 21-29.
Each £1000 donation will enable us to deliver one workshop for
up to 20 young people.
