We warmly invite WooP members to support Joy Gregory: Catching Flies with Honey, the first major retrospective of British artist Joy Gregory, opening at Whitechapel Gallery from 8 October 2025 to 1 March 2026.
A pioneering voice in photography for over four decades, Gregory’s work explores identity, race, gender, and diaspora, while expanding photography’s aesthetic and material possibilities. This landmark exhibition will feature over 100 works, offering audiences an unprecedented opportunity to experience the full breadth of her vision—from evocative still lifes and interior photographs to iconic early self-portraits, compelling portraits, and acclaimed series.
